For now the OCR will not (yet) recognize language specific chars like the ß, Ḉ or Ǿ. There is an option to save chars that Ocrsub does not recognized, but Ocrsub will forget all chars it has learned after closing the app. Ocrsub is very fast and it lets you select multiple subtitle languages and read them in one go. To prevent disappointment: Ocrsub reads only unprotected media. Ocrsub will have trouble reading a bad subtitle or subtitles in a "weird" Font type.
